An acquaintance recently had her rental car company recently claim with insurance company citing minor damages (couple of scratches and dents) to the car. Insurance company took a recorded statement from her and she denied responsibility for any damages cited by rental car company. Consequently, insurance company denied claim. Having thought about the entire situation thoroughly, she may have unintentionally omitted information that could have resulted in a different outcome regarding the claim. She wants to contact her insurance company and provide the most updated information vital to claim review. But she is afraid of the consequence having provided false information during the recorded statement.
