What are the little bars beneath the problem numbers on the assignments?

0

The bars are markers for each question. You can click on one of these and be transported to the location of that question in the assignment. • What do the Y, N, u, U, S and – stand for under the problem numbers on the assignment? These show the status of each question. • The Y means you have entered the correct answer. • The N means you have entered an incorrect answer (you may have one or more tries left). • The u means you have not entered a required unit for your answer. • The U means you have entered the wrong unit for your answer. • The S means you have entered the incorrect number of significant figures. • The – means you have not attempted the question yet. • Do all questions carry the same point value? Try attempts? No. Each question can be assigned a different point value, a different number of try attempts and even a different number of incorrect answer attempts before a hint will show. These values are assigned by the instructor. • Do I lose a try attempt for incorrect units
