What are the main differances between the American, British, and/or Irish Prison Systems?

Irish and British prison systems are pretty much the same. The biggest difference between the above two and the American system is probably prison gang violence in the U.K and Ireland we don’t really have prison gangs so there is less violence/sexual violence. I also think the U.K spen more on re-habilitating prisoners the our cousins in the States so there are more single cells etc. I can’t reall comment any more as I have never been a part of either system! Good luck!
