Well, Max Weber is Weberian theory, which is a theory in its own right, whereas Marx devised Classical Marxism, with the quote “Come all you workers unite, you have nothing to lose but your chains” (not 100% sure on accuracy). – Marxism claims that people in society need to allow equality via the working class uprising. – Weberian thinking says that in society you should aim to achieve verstehen, or seeing the world through someone else’s shoes. – In terms of power, Weberian thinking devises two types of power, coercive and authoritative (by force and legitimately).
