This question is difficult to answer because so many factors are involved. In most instances, we quote 30 feet (10 meters) for RS-232, 1000 feet for RS-485, 10 feet (3 metres) for Anilink, and 3 feet for I/O connector. (The 10PWR105 used for powering Anilink devices allows the addition of multiple motors to the network but does not increase separation.
