What are the most important factors in installation of wood floors?

0

The three most important factors in the long term performance and stability of a new solid hardwood floor are the correct site conditions, the correct timber moisture content and professional installation. It is very important to create and maintain the correct site conditions before installation & during installation. All wood floors need to acclimatise to site conditions before installation. Heating must be on for at least 2 weeks (18-20) degrees before the wood is placed inside the site and must remain in packaging for at least 7 days before fitting. Different woods will require different acclimatising times.
