What are the names of some Fairy tale angels?
Angels we have heard on high! one understands from a veteran friend this was a code phrase transmitted verbally to Bomber Crews in Vietnam meaning- OK to go ahead with planned mission- take her up to 40 Grand ( Cruise altitude) and the bombers swiftly complied ! Angels, being spiritual beings generally don”t figure in fairy tales but sometimes religious types appear in disguise- the so-called Fairies in Sleeping Beauty were originally Sisters Faith, Hope, and Charity of the Sisters of Charity, they were (de-Churched) by Disney ( always putting the knock on religion) in his version where they were Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather. Angels sometimes appear in (Obviously) yuletide fantasies which are on the border between religious and fairy fantasy- such as the Night the Animals Talked. it is an interesting subjects, one doe snot want to mock religion, but should work it in for spiritual values.
