What Are the NIP Opportunities for Local Subcontractors?
Based on a wide variety of NIP acoustic treatments that will be provided to eligible properties, there are a variety of subcontracting opportunities that may include the following trades: • Mechanical • Electrical • Insulation • Asbestos & Lead Paint Abatement • Stucco / Masonry • Painting • Drywall / Ceiling Tile • Roofing • Window & Door Procurement The required subcontractor trades will vary among Bid Cycle Bid Packages, depending on the unique acoustic designs for eligible properties. What Are the NIP Subcontractor Requirements? Before being allowed to participate in the NIP, all local subcontractors will be required to meet the following requirements: • Excellent business history • Completion of NIP Subcontractor Application • Proof of Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) certification (if applicable) • Pass criminal background checks and report approval for all workers • Successfully complete the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Internatio
