The 2008 program showcases a wide range of projects, all of which highlight craftsmanship, attention to detail, and architectural vision. Historically, copper has long been used because of its great natural beauty and finish, its performance and durability, and its long service life and recyclability. Today, copper remains a superior building material, adapted and utilized for a wide variety of contemporary and cutting edge applications. Eligibility: • Project must be located in Canada or the United States and completed within the past 3 years • Project must feature a significant application of architectural copper alloy(s) • Copper manufacturer must be located in North America Categories: • Historic Restoration • New Construction Entry deadline for the 2009 NACIA Awards is September 30, 2008.
