The aim of this key law on industrial emissions is to achieve a high level of environmental protection through integrated prevention and control of pollution arising from a wide range of industrial and agricultural activities, such as the production of metals, minerals, chemicals, paper, textiles, leather, processed foods, poultry and pig farming, combustion plants, oil refineries and waste management.
