What are the physiological, psychological, social and economic factors affecting what the elderly eat?
I can only attest to the physiological reason for changing eating habits. As an old person, I try to eat my last meal of the day before 5:00 PM. I found I would then sleep better. I think it is because our digestion is not a fast, or as tough to “strong” foods” You can eat them, just stay up about 4 hours after eating.
