What are the plans for transitioning the “new” students – elementary level?
If it is necessary to redistrict students at the elementary level, the District will develop a year-long transition plan that will include the last semester and at the student’s old school and first semester at the student’s new school. The District will put into place programs and services to ease the transition process. The Board will consult extensively with parents, staff, administrators and educational experts in developing student transition plans at all levels. These plans will be clearly communicated and feedback will be sought prior to implementation.
