What are the possible outcomes of the CDPR re-evaluation?
CDPR will evaluate the data submitted by registrants and may conclude the re-evaluation in several ways. If the data show that the use of the pesticide is unlikely to present significant adverse effects, no additional mitigation measures beyond the precautions already stated on the label will be implemented. If additional mitigation measures are necessary, CDPR may adopt regulations to mitigate the potential adverse effect. Some possible outcomes are: • Request for more data to make a regulatory decision • Mitigation measure on the label including classifying an active ingredient as a “Restricted Use” material • Post-mitigation monitoring to determine effectiveness of mitigation measures • Mandatory homeowner outreach and education and/or certification for some home use products • Eliminate uses that cause the greatest level of ecological exposure • Eliminate products While the data requirements for Groups I and II will be addressed by individual registrants, because of the complexity
