What are the procedures for resetting my EDS*NET password?

• If you get the password expired message on the telnet screen, you will be prompted to enter your ID and new password (twice). Your password change updates your EDS*NET password for Host Link access. • If you do not have access to that page or are having trouble resetting your password, contact the EDS Information Security Help Desk. For EDS employees: • The Mainframe password cycle is about 28 days, which is a higher frequency than other EDS passwords, which can cause an out-of-sync condition unless your password is updated properly. Changing your password within Host Link or other mainframe systems will not synchronize your password across systems. • If you get the password expired message on the telnet screen, DO NOT change your password here! Back out of your telnet session, and close all your open applications, especially email. • Go to https://password.eds.com and change your password. Your new password will be synched up across all systems, including the mainframe. • Log off ... more
