I have built my last few systems and one thing that I found to be generally true is that AMD processors are better at gaming and Intel’s are better at multimedia content creation. This is due to AMD’s optimized processors and Intel’s sheer speed. Now, this is changing with Intel’s Core 2 processors which are currently the top processors in the market. But like the other commenter stated, this comment will soon be out of date so you’ll need to keep up with the latest.
