What are the public health services provided within the South Service Planning Area?
We offer HIV and Sexually Transmitted Disease counseling, testing, health information, diagnosis, and referral as well as STD treatment. The South SPA Public Health Investigators and Nurses will examine certain reportable communicable diseases and provide services to assure the completion of TB Treatment for TB patients and their contacts living in the South SPA. Immunization services are being offered as well as Public Health Registrar (South HC only), Environmental Health (South HC), and Veterinary Services (Ruth Temple Only).
