What are the reasons that a person might not be able to receive a massage?

There are 3 things that might force us to send someone away: 1) If the client is over 15 minutes late for a requested appointment. This is disrespectful to the therapist and the next client, and you will be short-changed of your time as well so as our Cancellation Policy states, your appointment will be cancelled and you may be charged full price for your session if you do not call ahead of time. 2) If the client has been drinking alcohol, or is under the influence of illegal drugs. It is professionally unethical for us to work on someone if we even suspect that the client is under the influence of these substances. 3) If the client makes any sexually suggestive remarks or actions before or during their session, whether they be directed at the therapist or not. We spent too long in school training to be professional Massage Therapists to be associated with "Red-Light" activities, so we have developed a Zero-Tolerance policy.  more
