What are the requirements for the thesis proposal?
“Work on the thesis should begin the semester prior to its submission. Some advisors will expect a proposal draft before the end of the preceding term . . . As substantial work on the thesis begins, candidates will submit to their committee a proposal of three to five pages (typed, double-spaced) describing the problems, arguments, methods, and resources involved in the thesis project.
