What are the requirements to be designated a CFL?
Requirements for CFL designation are detailed in OPNAVINST 6110.1G Enclosure 9. The basic qualifications include; E-6 and above preferred, CPR qualified, non-user of tobacco products, overall PRT score of “Excellent Low” or better, be within maximum weight for height standards or no more than 21% body fat for males or 32% body fat for females, and complete NAVPERSCOM- approved CFL certification course.
