What are the requirements to create a Death Knight?
In order to create a Death Knight, a player must have already upgraded their accounts with the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. In order to create a Death Knight on a specific realm, a player must already have a character at level 55 or higher on that realm. (Note: This restriction will be lifted at some point after the expansion’s release. At that point a player with a level 55 or higher character on any realm will be able to create a Death Knight on any open realm.) There must also be an open character slot on the selected account/realm.
