Any person performing work of any kind in a public right-of-way within the City must obtain an excavation permit. The city right-of-way consists of the entire road, parkstrip and sidewalk area. Applicant shall furnish the City with a certificate of insurance and an acceptable corporate surety bond in the amount of $10,000. The Permittee shall, at its own expense, restore the surface of any Public Way to its original condition. Restorations shall conform to Engineering Regulations, Design standards and Specifications promulgated by the City.
