What are the rooms like?

Our study rooms rival the typical bedroom at home for comfort. Many patients report that they can actually sleep better here than at home.

In the lodge we have 37 rooms and another 4 rooms in a nearby building. All rooms have a private bathroom. Most of our rooms have two queen- or double-size beds. Some of our rooms have just one bed; and some sleep up to seven people. We can help you choose the room that is best for you. The rooms are decorated in Old West style, consistent with the atmosphere of the ranch, and are a little rustic, but very comfortable. You won’t find telephones or televisions in our guest rooms. You’ll really enjoy the peacefulness. However, there are phones and a television in the lodge for your use.

The participant rooms are single occupancy with a shared bath/shower on the hall. All air-conditioned rooms are non-smoking, and equipped with alarm clocks, bathroom amenities, and Internet access. On each floor is a common room with cable television, telephone, refrigerator, and microwave. EITM has sole occupancy of two floors of a dorm off the main quadrangle on Dukes west campus.

All accommodation options at camp provide campers with twin-size beds and room privacy of their choice (Single, Double or Shared.). The New Lodge rooms are the ‘newest’ construction, and therefore are the most modern. Rustic Cabins and Lodges are older buildings, with all the charms of children’s overnight camp. (We’ve heard that an air mattress is not a bad bring-along for those with a sensitive back). We strongly recommend campers add the little touches of home to create their camp home-away-from-home for the weekend.
