What are the rules concerning batting order and substitutions?
The batting order for both teams should be strictly followed during the entire course of play unless a substitution takes place and the substitute takes the place of the replaced player. The replaced player is no longer permitted to play once substituted. The players shall take turns to bat in the order in which their names appear in the batting order and after completion of an inning the first batter for the succeeding inning will be the player whose name follows the last player of the previous innings who is said to have legally completed his time at bat.
