As with everything in Mirrorshades, the key to the game is simplicity. Whilst rules for certain types of custom weaponry can be provided if required, for the main part, the basic rules are sufficient. Anything special must be cleared with a Ref and, if approved, more specific rules details will be provided on an ad hoc basis. It should also be noted that Mirrorshades is a predominantly non combat-based system, emphasising roleplaying over gunplay. If you approach the game expecting a firefight, you’ll probably be disappointed.
