well, you just have to follow the directions on the bottle, some say take with food and some say don't. If you don't, then dont take with milk. You should never take any meds or vitamins with Tea. Tea leeches everything from whatever you eat with it, so anything you want to absorb into your bloodstream shouldn't be had in conjunction with tea. Most antibiotics dont have many side effects other than killing the germ, however, penicillin is notorious for causing a yeast infection in women cause it kills so much bacteria that it kills the good bacteria as well as the bad. I would recommend zithromax instead and always finish your meds. Not finishing a perscription makes the strain stronger and then in turn creates super bugs and can kill people in the future.

Antibiotics are generally very chalky tasting. Therefore, if need be, try drinking a full glass of water after you take it. This will wash the taste away but not effect the medication.
