Signs I know to watch for are tabor that takes hours with no results, and the mother too exhausted to push, or a kitten part way out that she can’t seem to push any more. If a kitten does seem to get stuck, use something like a clean washcloth to gently grasp it and GENTLY pull while she pushes. A greenish discharge can mean a necrotic dead kitten inside her.
