What are the similarities between the code of hammurabi and the ten commandments?

I just went over this in my world history class! The similarities between the Code of Hammurabi and the Ten Commandments are that they go over a lot of the same things, but they do it in different ways. Code of Hammurabi: “A man who steals from another man, must pay thirty pence. A man who steals from the temple will be put to death…….ect.” Ten Commandments: “Thou shalt not steal.” Both of those examples go over not stealing. To sum it up… You might say that The Code of Hammurabi and The Ten Commandments overall, have the same values, and expect the same things from people.
