Liquid Media Containing L-Glutamine: Liquid media, which contains L-glutamine, have shelf lives as indicated by their expiry dating. This shelf life takes into consideration shipping at ambient temperatures for a limited period of time. The acceptable period is generally 3 days, but may be exceeded or shortened depending on the ambient temperature and shipping conditions. If the materials are received, and the bottles are "warm to the touch", or the bottles were in transit longer than the allotted three days, the L-glutamine may have degraded to a level which may no longer support optimal growth.
