What are the sturdiest flowering shrubs that can be planted in the early spring?
It strongly depends on where you live as far as being hardy. I know that Evergreen shrubs are most commonly planted in the spring early in March and freeze want hurt them at all for the most part as they want break bud until usually into May anyway in most areas of the country. Then there are several others that are cold hardy but knowing your planting zone would be a great lus and I would recommend going online and searching for the growing zone chart and finding out what zone you live in and then go from there when planting anything.
