The symptoms differ usual signs are, 1.Stuffy nose 2.Crackling in chest when breathing 3.Red watery eyes 4.Salivating in mouth due to sore throat(some cats will poke their tongues out) 5.Lethargic 6.Off their food 7.Sneezing 8.Snotty nose 9.Watery nose 10.Sleeping a lot 11.Coughing 12.Retching 13.Pale gums but your cats eye could be watering for another reason,and the infection conjunctivitis being one of them many cats catch this at cattery’s and shelters,if it was flu both eyes would be affected and not only watering but have green goo coming out,but if it is conjunctivitis it is easily treated with drops from the vet so make an appointment anyway as even conjunctivitis can be sore and wont clear without drops, my cat had both flu a few times, and conjunctivitis but not at the same time, and she always got conjunctivitis from staying in cattery’s so this cat could well have picked this up there. and while at the vet ask about flu injections, these are great my cat was inoculated agai
