What are the symptoms of worn tie rods?
Most vehicles have four tie rods, two inner and two outer. Tie rods connect the steering mechanism of the vehicle to the wheels. They also hold the wheels in position, relative to one another. When tie rods wear it allows the wheels to toe in or toe out. This causes tire wear. There is also sometimes a loose feeling in the steering or a looseness when hitting bumps.
