The first step to dealing with any dog allergy is learning how to treat it. Treatments vary depending on the symptoms, the dog and sometimes even the specific allergy, but being free of snot on the floor or more serious allergy-related dog health issues is more than worth the fuss.AvoidanceThe first line of defense against any dog allergy is simply not to have your dog go anywhere near the item to which they’re allergic, if at all possible.Topical TreatmentsIn cases of rash or hives, a topical treatment, such as an oatmeal shampoo or an anti-itch cream can be applied to the dog’s skin to relieve discomfort for a short time.Fatty AcidsFatty acids, such as omega-3s, help to reduce the amount of histamine released in the skin and can provide some allergy relief when given to your dog regularly. Fatty acids may also be used in combination with biotin, a B vitamin.AntihistaminesOften used in conjunction with avoidance and fatty acids, antihistamines can be given to treat allergies in dogs.

Such a treatment should be prescribed only by a veterinarian. It can be dangerous to choose the meds by yourself. In case still have doubts, you can read the description on Pet Express. Hope it helps!

That’s such a pity that you have an allergy. Unfortunately, you will never cure it but there are pills which let you contact a dog and feel good. I also have an allergy and I realised it when I was choosing a dog on https://veterinarymanagement.net/adorable-dogs-for-sale-at-affordable-rates/ and felt devastating after it.

Treatments for allergies in dogs varies. I have talked to my vet about this topic and she said that many dogs are fine taking a Benadryl or half a Benadryl either once a day or two times a day, in the morning and evening. There are prescription dog medications that can also be bought from the vet if Benadryl does not work.
