What are the two divisions of the New Testament?

I don’t know what two divisions you are thinking about. Personally, I would divide the New Testament into three divisions as follows: 1. “Historical” books: these would include the four Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles. These books tell what Jesus and His Apostles did. 2. The Epistles: these are the letters written by the Apostles to various groups of people. They were mostly written by Paul, but also included the writings of Peter, John, James the brother of Jesus, and Jude. 3. The Revelation of John (a.k.a. the Apocalypse): this book does not really belong with either of the other two sections.
