• Public and semi-public pools, wading pools or special use pools, spas and artificial and semi-artificial bathing lakes are regulated by the Swimming Pools Program. The Swimming Pools Program does not regulate or approve plans for the construction of new or modification of existing private residential pools, spas and bathing lakes . The wading and special use pools class includes a number of different pool types. For example, spray pads falls under this class of pools.
