It’s not really a play as such, it’s more the stage presentation of a series of anecdotes with a connection to vagina’s, some very funny, some quite desperately sad (like a tale about a girl who was gang-raped by soldiers during the Bosnian conflict). The Monologues still tour the country now and again with different presenters – it’s worth going to see, and it’s not just for women, it’s an eye-opener for brave men too.
