What are Therapeutic Resource Centers and how do members benefit from them?
Medco Health Solutions, Inc. (Medco), the Foreign Service Benefit Plan’s prescription drug benefit manager, has created a clinical enhancement to help members stay healthier and safer. Medco specialist pharmacists are organized into eleven Therapeutic Resource Centers (TRCs), or specialized pharmacy practices. Each practice focuses on the care and treatment of FSBP members with a particular set of chronic or complex conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart conditions, high cholesterol, cancer, asthma, arthritis, mental wellness, and other chronic conditions.
