They are most likely either revs (revolutions) or spot lights. I’m leaning more toward the latter though, because I remember seeing spot light operators during this song working the lights onstage (up toward the balconies, two different technical workers). Or, it could be a combination of both. Revs are intelligent lights that are able to follow an actor (they can be programed to move around in any direction), change colors (in regards to the lights), and display more than 2 gobos. A gobo, by the way, is not a light. It is a piece of tin (other materials are used as well I believe) that has a pattern cut into it. These patterns can be anything from leaves, to stars, and even words (if you’ve ever seen a light shining on a wall or the ground with a theatre name or other such names, it’s probably being shone through a gobo which is has been cut to spell the words -backwards I think). Intelligent revs are pretty expensive (not mention heavy), but I’m not sure if you’re interested in purch
