What are two main influences on child development?
Hi Ashley D I would say caring nurturing parents,who have time for their children,form a strong attachment with them, and provide unconditional love,support,patience and understanding.Passing on the necessary tools to enable them to deal with life,is also important.Parents have a profound impact on their children for better or worse. And genetics also play a part,as we are all unique individuals with different levels of intelligence and ability.The amount of interest a parent takes and the stimulation a child gets would also affect its development.Recognising your child’s potential and encouraging them to grow as people helps to develop healthy self esteem within the child and helps them to be able to deal with the challenges in life.
