What Are Uses for Food-Grade Hydrogen Peroxide?

0

The hydrogen peroxide available in drugstores can be used for some topical applications, but it contains stabilizers such as phenol and acetanilide. This type of hydrogen peroxide should not be taken orally, says Dr. David D. Williams in “The Many Benefits of Hydrogen Peroxide.” Only food-grade hydrogen peroxide should be used internally. Food-grade hydrogen peroxide comes in a 35 percent concentration–the rest is water–and it must be diluted to a 3 percent concentration. To dilute, combine one ounce of hydrogen peroxide with 11 ounces of distilled water.
