What are voice coil jumpers?

0

Some subs have dual voice coils. I would assume voice coil jumpers are short pieces of wire for the coils (in electronics work, a short piece of wire is typically called a jumper). You can make new ones easily, without soldering. Usually, voice coils will have a male spade connector (looks like a little metal tab). You can get female spade connectors at radio shack or similar. Cut a piece of wire long as you need, crimp on the spade connector (pinch the metal part tight on the wire), electrical tape tightly, and your done.
