Construction of the Bijou Street bridge and the I-25 interchange requires that the Pikes Peak Greenway, which runs under the bridge, be detoured. Rockrimmon Constructors coordinated the detour route with the Colorado Springs Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services.
