What are your experiences/thoughts/opinions on using the “Ferber” method for helping a baby sleep?
I think that maybe baby is having ,obviously separation anxiety so maybe you can try to take a crib sheet and sleep with it in your bed lay on it use it for a pillow ,put your scent on it.I would not let the baby cry for more than 15 min.I tried the ferber with my first son I did not have a good experience.I dont think we are as close as we should be.My second son did not use it and we are very close.I think it depends on babys personality.I dont like it because babys cry because they cant talk and that is their means of talking so basically your babys crying out and your not validating .I never breast fed either you and your baby are even closer so maybe that makes it more difficult.Not sure but that was my expeirience.I also bought this aquarium toy thing that plays music and has klights sounds like the ocean by fisher price .it plays music and lights for ten minutes.soothing it makes me fall asleep im using it now its great maybe try that too.I have an 8.5 month old son.my third he
