What attack strategy would a killer whale have to use?
The only information I could find on killer whales attacking great whites was on October 4, 1997 off the coast of California a 25 yr old female called CA2 from the LA pod was seen & filmed attacking a great white.I could see no real strategy, other than it looked like she was by herself when she attacked. It appeared like she rammed the shark & had it in her mouth. The next picture looked like the shark was mincemeat. It said she did not eat the shark, but it floated to the bottom other than it’s liver. Gross. There were other accounts of people saying they witnessed similar attacks but no pictures.
