The Executive Branch is the body. The President selects his running mate, appoints all Secretaries, Department heads, ETC. That’s why it’s Executive. It’s most important role is enforcing the laws. It holds Veto Power over the congress on Laws which allows it to set the agenda. It appoints all justice nominees who then must be approved by congress.
