What brands of dry dog food should I feed my 1 year old Golden Retriever?
There are some great brands of dog food out there. Here are a few to get you started. Taste of the Wild is EXCELLENT! I highly recommend it. Blue Buffalo Wilderness, also EXCELLENT! Natural Balance, EXCELLENT, Merrick, Canidae, Orijin, Wellness, etc. I think you should try the Taste of the Wild first, and see if your dog likes this brand. It is a good quality food that is grain free. It is also an all life stage dog food which means you don’t have to worry about changing from puppy to adult, to senior dog food. You can also alternate the flavors of dog food and not have to worry about slowly transitioning because they are all the same food with a different protein source. The same can be said for Blue Buffalo Wilderness and Natural Balance. They are also all life stage foods.
