What can dancers, musicians, painters, poets, actors and other professional artists contribute to my schools mission to educate children?
Artists serve as mentors and role models for students and are effective partners in education. Their knowledge, skill and discipline nurtures in children the ability to be creative, to understand, and to cultivate discipline. The goal of the BOCES Arts in Education programs is to support this interaction between artists, students and teachers.
