What can employees, as good environmental stewards, do at work and at home in support of sustainability?
At work employees can offer suggestions through the corporate suggestion program for continually improving our green programs. Employees can turn off their lights when leaving their offices, when feasible print on both sides of paper, follow recycling guidelines and encourage others to follow the 4R’s of environmental stewardship. At home we can recycle and be energy efficient in how we use our natural resources. Take advantage of ADTRAN’s carpooling program. Combine tasks to reduce driving requirements. Use and reuse canvas grocery bags instead of plastic ones.
