What can I expect of my Natural Air Grain Drying (NAGD) System in October under adverse weather conditions?
NAGD is most successful under warm temperatures and low relative humidity. Later in the year, NAGD systems will be most successful in lowering the temperature of the grain so that it may be safely stored until drying can be completed in the spring, or by a heated air grain dryer. Unless the weather becomes unseasonably mild, do not rely on NAGD systems to dry large volumes of grain later in the fall and early winter.
