You won’t have to worry about feeding the hatchlings until after their first shed and that usually takes about a week after they leave their eggs. They absorb their yolk before leaving the egg and that will tide them over for quite a while. It’s important not to disturb them or force them to leave their eggs early or their umbilicus could sever and they won’t be able to absorb anything. You can offer them mouse pinks or fuzzies after they shed on a weekly basis or twice weekly if you’d prefer. If you have any “preemie” babies or hatchlings that are otherwise abnormally small you can offer pinkie parts. Just cut a frozen pink into quarters and offer as many pieces as your baby will eat. Some babies can emerge so small that they may only be able to take pinkie tails. Hopefully that won’t be the case in your situation and you’ll have a healthy clutch of normal-sized babies. Good luck with them!
