Biology degrees are great, but they are rather open-ended degrees that don’t specifically qualify you anything. Most people who major in biology go on to get higher level degrees or to enter a related field. I have a degree in biology and chemistry and then spent an additional year in a hospital internship to become a medical technologist. My daughter in law got the same degree as me, but became a biology and chemistry high school teacher and is now working on her master’s degree in biology. I recommend you major in chemistry and minor in biology as this degree will open more doors for you.
